Caira Cudjoe, Corporate Communications Manager, Guardian Life presented a cheque to Mrs. Shamin Singh, a member of the Basia Survivor Network. The cheque valued at TTD10,000 will cover the cost of a PET/CT scan in Miami for Mrs. Singh, a test which is commonly used in the US to detect cancer cells to aid the treatment of a cancer patient and the rate of survival. Ms. Cudjoe indicated  that Guardian Life was committed to helping the lives of women like Shamin and encouraged the ladies of the Basia Survivor Network to continue sharing their journey so that they in turn would be able to help others. Mrs. Singh was moved by the gesture and voiced her gratitude to Guardian Life and to Basia for this award.
